The Heretic: Body

A conversation with The Heretic, on the body, its discontents and its potentials, opening with a discussion of the work and writings of Tatsumi Hijikata, the originator of butô, we explore the body as a vehicle for mantic vision and magic and dancing as a form of rebellion.

The Heretic is a dialogue on radical or heretical viewpoints; the topics are wide ranging and not expressly restricted to comparative religion, technology, society and culture, or the occult. The series focuses on people who not only critique incumbent systems, but also present new modalities and frameworks.
